It is said that in each life some rain must fall. Mine encompassed a deluge for a few years. First divorcing my ex-husband, helping my children deal with their new reality, and then being diagnosed with cancer as a single mom.
I've decided to post this week the pieces that I wrote (during that time) to work through my feelings. They are as much a part of me as any of the others. They are, however, darker than my other work.
