We wanted to share our experiences as we travel to New Orleans of the 2012 ELCA Youth Gathering--Citizens with the Saints. We thank our parents and the congregation of Holy Cross for making this trip possible. We wanted to share our excitement.
My father died of liver cancer in March, 1996...slightly less than a year earlier than my twins were born. I did make that promise. And I do my best to keep it.
