Clarity

We have a nightly ritual in our home. As we put the twins to bed, we stand at the corner of their rooms and say our evening prayers. Afterwards, we go into their rooms for kisses and magic mommy dust. It was an idea I read about quite a while ago. So I sprinkle magic mommy dust for the sweetest of dream along with a goodnight kiss.

Once even when I reached into my pocket for the dust, one of the twins asked me if it was really magic dust. Thinking rather quickly and apparently unwisely, I said, "either that or pocket lint." He had a bad dream that night. I've only had dust since then.
