Follow me he says
and the children gleefully follow.
This is no parade leading
away from jilted promise.
But a promise of faith.
A leader by example.
Having a life so open
to be seen by youth's eyes.
They follow to learn
what gift they have
to bestow on the world.
They follow to learn
God's plan for them.
They follow to learn
how relationships grow
and evolve.
They follow the music
leading along the path of faith.
It is a sound so sweet
they can not resist.
Follow the follower of Jesus.
The pied piper of faith.
