We wanted to share our experiences as we travel to New Orleans of the 2012 ELCA Youth Gathering--Citizens with the Saints. We thank our parents and the congregation of Holy Cross for making this trip possible. We wanted to share our excitement.
A road trip out to the country and back inspired this piece. Open farmland gave way to the suburbs and I mourned the loss of the loveliness of the landscape. Gentle Hills is the result.
