Clarity

Since I wrote the "poem" for Terri, I thought I'd go ahead and post this piece that I had written a couple of years ago. First, I must say the idea/title "Everyone thinks about leaping off a building" came from the movie Stranger than Fiction. I find it curious that I wrote of shadows and light in both. Our darkest thoughts must lie in the shadows, but if we cannot see the light of hope then we are surely lost. I have suffered abuse, I have survived cancer. Those shadows have been in my life, but I've always chosen the light. I hope everyone that reads this will find their light despite their circumstances.
