This was my first article in Cross Currents where I started to add my own voice. I took out the reference to the volunteer website which is www.volunteermatch.org . It's a great website to match your interests in your locations. I've used it with the kids because I'd had difficulty in the past finding opportunities that allowed younger children. Because I couldn't afford a babysitter and I wanted them to be volunteers also, it was an all or nothing proposition.
